It's only half a block away from the over-the-top Bourbon Street. You wonder how it is possible for this restaurant to quietly exist being so close to the craziness. With that said, If you are a wine person and want to enjoy some decent Ne American cuisine then go here. We went to a different restaurant earlier in the late afternoon. As this was our second meal in the evening to eat, our intent was to eat light (again.) As we quickly browsed the menu outside, we spotted some dishes that looked interesting so we popped in. A little past 7pm or so, the restaurant wasn't busy on a pleasant Friday night. We got lucky. Our waitress was Kyra. She was friendly and welcoming. Several minutes after she had given us water, she came back with a bag of baguette with butter (complimentary.) What a nice gesture. She then came back with a little taste of the Italian Cab Franc I asked her about. This was a solid red wine which I asked her to give me a full glass of it. I was pretty happy with the quality of this Italian Cab Franc. Like I said earlier, we just needed a good-portioned appetizer plate. for us to split as we wanted to eat light. I made a suggestion to my daughter if we could get the Beef Medallion to which she agreed. I must tell you. This Beef Medallion is a must order item. The beef was so tender and cooked medium (with a slight read in the middle.) It was like eating a quality Japanese Wagyu meat. And the accompanying potatoes were well-seasoned. Per the menu, this is Angus beef (Angus cattle are known for their marbling; no wonder it was so tender/juicy/flavorful like Wagyu meat.) As a to-go, we got the Honey Cheese Cheesecake in a box. I later had a little bit of it as soon as we got back to our hotel room. This is also a must item; it's not too sweet and/or decadent. If you want to take a break from all the seafood laden restaurants in Big Easy, this is one of the good choices especially if you like wine where you'll enjoy a good ambience. And like I said, the craziness from the busy Bourbon Street doesn't reach this restaurant (surprisingly.)

A must try restaurant! We had dinner and it was more than I expected! We had goat cheese salad, lamb chops, shrimp & grits, and crab cake egg rolls. Friendly & knowledgeable service and we were not rushed, but able to enjoy our meal with great conversation!

We had a really busy day exploring NOLA and stopped in for some A/C, a snack and a drink. We got there right when they opened so we snagged a table inside and truly had excellent service. I had an aperol spritz that was perfectly made and refreshing. The fresh bread for the table was *chefs kiss*. We had trouble decided which apps to try but finally landed on baked brie with pecans and honey (OMG) and shared a bowl of tomato soup and the angus medallions. Everything was SO GOOD. It was a really nice surprise and we had a great time just chatting and hanging in this beautiful bistro. Our server had a good sense of humor and did a great job coming by every time we needed him. It was a very chill and very good experience.

Food was great, wine was ok, and service was ok. The waitress seemed a bit spacey like she was out of it. She brought the wrong wine flight but we didn't charge and let me keep it. The meal was amazing and we enjoyed the bread and butter compliment which is not as common anymore in restaurants. It was a small but quaint and cozy restaurant and had bar, indoor, and outdoor, seating. The waitress wasn't too attentive but it wasn't busy and we didn't have lot of needs so it was ok. I'm sure I may try it again.

Where is the bacon? Oh how I missed the bacon Anyhow, Orleans grapevine is very good. Great value for the money. The food always meets or exceeds my expectations. Atmosphere is nice; seem like it's very under-appreciated. The bread service is amazing !

Right on Orleans, this wine bar truly delights and delivers. There is a stunning little patio out back with the coziest vibes as you're encapsulated by the French architecture and green paned windows. The service was amazing and the they always brought a smile and great wine out. Even when a wine wasn't in stock they offered their equivalent with a similar flavor profile (even matching a price to make it more enticing). The baked brie was nothing to ride home about but it was cool to see the different topping options that they had. I got the surf and turf and the meat was seared really well, but it was missing a bit more salt to round out the flavors. The crawfish was great and added a nice texture to the dish. The potatoes and veggies were just ok and didn't stick out too much.
